Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of Beyond 12’s AI-assisted coaching tools (“MyCoach”). Any capitalized terms used but not defined in this Acceptable Use Policy will have the meanings ascribed in the Terms of Use Agreement.

If you access or use MyCoach, you agree that:

1. You will comply with all applicable laws and not promote, encourage, facilitate, plan, incite, or further anyone else’s violation of the law or any of your school’s policies or regulations, including by:
   • Using MyCoach as a homework tool or to otherwise enhance your academic performance, including, for example, on homework, projects, or exams;
   • Engaging in or facilitating any action or generating any content that infringes, misappropriates, or otherwise violates any third-party rights; or
   • Promoting or engaging in any illegal or criminal activity.
2. You will not submit Inquiries to MyCoach pertaining to violence or harm to yourself or others. Without limitation, you will not:
   • Promote suicide or self-harm;
   • Promote violence, terrorism, or human trafficking;
   • Engage in harassment, discrimination, or bullying; or
   • Engage in the solicitation, creation, acquisition, or dissemination of child-exploitative or otherwise inappropriate content, in Beyond 12’s sole discretion.

3. You will not use MyCoach to intentionally mislead or deceive Beyond 12, other Users, or third parties, including by generating, promoting, or furthering:
   • Fraud, disinformation, or spam;
   • Defamatory statements, images, or other content;
   • Misrepresentations that MyCoach outputs are human-generated; or
   • A false online presence or impersonation of another without consent, authorization, or the legal right to do so.
4. You will not submit to MyCoach any personal information pertaining to any individual other than yourself.
5. You understand that the information you submit to MyCoach may be shared with third parties, including human coaches. You will not submit to MyCoach, nor prompt MyCoach regarding, sensitive information pertaining to yourself or others, including but not limited to:
   • Government identification cards, documents, or numbers (e.g., driver’s license or Social Security number);
   • Medical data or other health data about your or others’ physical or mental health conditions (e.g., medical records, symptoms, or diagnoses); or
   • Financial data or account information (e.g., bank statements or payment card numbers).
6. MyCoach is for use only in connection with non-emergency requests and guidance regarding your higher education experience. You will not use MyCoach for any other purpose, including for professional advice or in connection with any emergency or critical situation, including situations that require:
   • Time-sensitive human intervention;
   • Professional (such as legal, tax, or financial) or situation-specific input or guidance; or
   • Guidance from a medical or mental health professional, counselor, or similar professional.
