Beyond 12 is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the number of low-income, first generation, and historically underrepresented students who graduate from our nation’s colleges and universities. Over the summer, Beyond 12 will be running a summer bridge program for students graduating from San Francisco Unified School District and attending City College San Francisco (CCSF). The primary objective will be to ease their transition by building a foundation for academic, financial, social and personal success. Over the course of the 6-week program, students will have the opportunity to take academic courses at CCSF, participate in workshops on various college-success related topics, develop new friendships with their cohorts, and receive personalized coaching.
